PRODUCTIVITY

Profitability and Reliance

Many business owners are forced to undertake numerous activites within their busy working days, with a broad objective of substantially increasing profitability and decreasing the business's reliance on themselves, yet do not always achieve their objective.

3 or 4 Key Measures

We are finding, as many of you already know, that by establishing and regularly monitoring 3 or 4 Key Measures, the objective of increased Profitability and reduced Reliance, may be simply achieved.

Suggestions

Depending on the size of your business, the measures and specific examples may include;

  • Listings per Agent (per week).
  • Recruit 1 Sales Agent (per week).
  • Recruit 1 Franchise Office (per month).
  • Listing 1 Property (per week).
  • Sale of 1 Property (per week).
  • 2 face to face appointments per day, with people that can say "yes".
  • Coffee meeting with 1 potential Sales Agent (per week).

Summary

If you and all within the business have established the 3 or 4 Key Measures that will achieve increased profitability and reduce reliance on the Principal - Fantastic!

If one or two of the suggestions, once applied, are of assistance to both simplify and grow your business, that would also be fantastic.

Enjoy your business.

Australian Story - Neil Jenman
Monday 29 October 2007, 8.00pm

Neil Jenman made a fortune in real estate before he decided to switch sides and act for the consumers who’d fallen foul of the property market. It was a controversial move that won him as many enemies as it did friends.

Neil Jenman is a complex man with a dual legacy: a born salesman who strives to use the art of persuasion for the forces of good. It is, he says, a never-ending battle.
